Large Print Books

My husband has dementia. I left this book on his desk and he immediately picked it up to review. He found it interesting and rnjoyed it, but was finished reading in a manner of minutes. I will try again when he has forgotten he read it.

My grandmother has had a stroke that affected her optic nerve causing her to have difficulty reading. I got this set in hopes she could enjoy it. It is nice big text, but she still struggled too much to read and it became tortuous instead of enjoyable. The books are nice sized with spiral bound pages. It might be good for others, but did not work for her.

My mother has poor vision in one eye and needs reading glasses otherwise.She breezed through these books and enjoyed them very much. Considering her cognition issues are very mild, she won't hold onto them, as they're now "completed", but will share them with others.These books are a great idea. Some of the "large print" is too dense in other literature, and these are a good solution for those looking for an easy, enjoyable read.I know they are also designed for those with more progressed cognition issues in mind.

These books have very large print and contain nice short stories for seniors to enjoy. I have donated mine to a memory care facility.
