Keeps me amused and busy.

Keeps me amused even thought I do not have dementia.

Age appropriate

I always get a small gift to unwrap and then a larger gift of money for my grandkids at Christmas. That way their large gift from me can be something they really want. Most are now teens and older with my 7 and 9 year old boys being the youngest. These brain teaser puzzles should be a fun challenge for them.

Be patient

The quality of the game/puzzle is amazing! The pieces are easy for my husband (Alzheimer’s) to handle and he likes the color and smooth texture. We’re only using the pieces to talk about shapes and colors. It might take some time for him to engage with the board and cards. What I do is set it on the table so he can stop and “fiddle” with it as he passes by. Then perhaps after breakfast or lunch we “play” a game.I gave it 4 stars only bc it might be a little too challenging for individuals in the final stages. But I imagine a year ago my husband would have taken to it more quickly.
