10/10 great

I got this to play with my 97 year old grandmother. She has had a visual stroke so we used the cards which I would read aloud and she would verbally report the answer. She did very very well missing only two in the entire stack. The word text is large enough that I think she may be able to read them on her own. We will be repeating these with her on a regular basis. A nice activity that feels nostalgic rather than juvenile.

Fun and accessible game

This is a hit with my parent who has cognitive decline. It's easily modified, and basically just a flash card game which is great because we can go as long as we feel like since there's no "end" or complicated board to move around. We don't have small children but I feel like this could be a multi-generational game. Kids might find it interesting to guess and learn about old sayings.

Game changer

My parents are in their early 80s with varying degrees of dementia. One normal for age, the other slightly more pronounced. Due to an individual in their lives with bad intentions, their sense of severity is skewed. This evening we played this game and they lit up!The game taps into common sayings that we all should know (or know we should know) and serves to boost self esteem for those with mild cognitive impairment. It was such a delight to see my mother squeal with joy as she beat my father to the punch. The box itself is a durable cardboard with sharp design. Not sure why the final "s" is backwards as it had me questioning my own cognition, but I suppose modern brands must find a way to standout.A+ and wonderful stocking stuffer!

Great for recall and quality time.

I really enjoy going over these cards with my loved one. We spend quality time together and it helps her use her brain and keep it as sharp as possible considering the prognosis. The cards are well packaged and thoughtful and I'm so glad they exist! Can't recommend them enough.

Didn't work for us

I suppose I'd have to admit that my mom has what I thought was minor dementia... but she didn't get this game at all.I guess it's worse than I thought. While it's a nice idea, it didn't work for usBest of luck to you and yours...
