Coloring Activity Book

I ordered this coloring set for my mother who suffers from dementia. She is still able to go about her day, but with help. She loved to paint prior to her illness so I thought this set would be appropriate for her given her limited abilities. The book is put together really well. It offers 4 types of coloring exercises which are pretty simplistic. The images are very brief which is what she needs as detailed images become frustrating. I love the pencil shape which is triangular. I found them to be really easy to hold vs a round pencil. They seem to have a better grasp. They do color nicely and can be erased somewhat easily (a little residue is left when erasing). A sharpener & eraser are included. She does have an issue with both, but gives it a try anyway. So far she has done well all things considered. Great kit, well worth the cost. Highly recommended!

Although this is sold as an adult activity book, I decided to give it a try with my six year old who loves doing all sorts of art projects, and this was a big hit. She enjoyed the variety, coloring, painting, and drawing on a larger sized art pad which she really enjoyed over the generally coloring book sized children's art projects. It has heavier, high quality card stock like art paper, all in all a nice quality art activity set.

The adult coloring activity book for people with dementia is perfect for them. It kept my clients interest. Drawings are large and easy to follow. The pad is spiral bound, and the paper heavyweight. Came with six colored pencils, eraser, and a sharpener. Came packaged in a box. Would recommend. Quality product.
