The familiar shape of the blocks in the Binomial Cube, a classic Montessori activity, make it easy for people with dementia or Alzheimer's to relate to this puzzle, but these aren’t just simple wooden blocks.
The blocks are different sizes and each face on each block is coloured either blue, black or red. Start simply by lining the blocks up matching colours. Stack them, count them, compare their sizes, have fun with them. Use the template to learn about the different coloured sides and how they relate. Finally, figure out how to put them back in the box by matching the colours on the sides of each block. The included instructions detail how to move from one exercise to the next.
